The May 3rd, 2024 Club Meeting will cover: The Indiana QSO Party, and how we're going to participate. Details are in the rules, found here: http://hdxcc.org/inqp/ and we'll cover logistics at the meeting. We hope to get people to get on the air, HF and VHF/UHF-- all license classes can run all the recommended HF+ bands.

We will also cover programming your radio with CHIRP and RT Systems software. This is mostly a demo. On Saturday, May 4th, we'll do more.

Our usual meeting place is First United Church, 2420 E 3rd St 47401 for our monthly meetings. Here is a map. Park in back of the IU Credit Union and enter the rear door of the church, then right to the far end of the hallway.

ARRL VE License Testing May 4th 12 noon. Please contact Bill Wootten KC9ACL@ARRL.NET to get on the list for upgrades and new testing.

Monroe County Hamfest June 8th 2024 9-12pm Monroe County Fairgrounds, 5200 W Aiport Rd, Bloomington 47403

Volunteers are needed for setup and teardown. We also have some raffle ideas to clear with membership. Fox Hunt will likely take place. Rain or shine.

Donations

The Bloomington Amateur Radio Club takes donations of amateur radio-related gear. We either use this gear for club activities, or resell the gear to boost the club’s treasury.

We can pick up this gear if it’s local, or you can drop it off with one of our officers.
